The Osprey has Landed

Hello Fellow Fisherman!

My apologies for being offline the last couple of months. We have relocated to God's Country and will be running our guide business out of Southern Oregon and Northern California. The new shop is finished and we are ready to begin catching fish by intercepting the fall runs of King Salmon and Summer Steelhead on the Klamath River. We will also be guiding the Sacramento River near Red Bluff for King Salmon out of Salmon King Lodge of Red Bluff this fall.

Over the course of the next few months I will be refining the fall salmon and winter steelhead programs to include Northern California streams that previously were not practical for us to reach. This will include guiding the Smith River consistantly for trophy King Salmon and Steelhead. Stay tuned to this website for updates on the new programs and the best fishing reports on the Northcoast.

AND...don't worry we will still be offering our Russian River Steelhead trips beginning in December that were popular last year when we landed well over 150 fish for our clients!

Paul LeFebvre, your host and owner of Osprey River Guide Service, offers virtually year-round guided Salmon and Steelhead fishing trips on most of the rivers in Northern California. To name a few..... The Klamath River, Sacramento River, and Smith River which offer excellent summer and fall fishing opportunities for King Salmon. During winter months, the Russian River, Smith River, Mattole River, Eel River host some of the best Steelhead fishing in the Pacific Northwest.

As you browse through our website please notice that Osprey River Guide Service uses only the best equipment available. When fishing larger rivers, such as the Sacramento, Klamath, and Feather Rivers you are safe and comfortable in our new 2005 21' North River Commander jet boat. While fishing smaller streams, such as the Russian, Eel and Garcia Rivers, you are safe and comfortable in our heated 16' custom Willie driftboat.

Osprey River Guide Service uses only top brand name rods and reels. Our terminal tackle is the finest available and is properly matched to the water conditions we will face on your day of fishing. Weather you are an expert or a novice we will use our 35 years of river angling experience to put you in the fishing experience of a lifetime.

The Osprey River Guide Service is committed to scheduling fishing trips that meet up with the various runs of migrating fish as they return to their native river system to spawn. This translates into "FISH ON"! and is one of the biggest keys to catching fish!
