Paul has been guiding the rivers of Northern California for the past 7 years since retiring from the high tech industry where he was a successful process engineer.

He has a passion for fishing and genuinely enjoys watching others catch fish while teaching the methods he has studied and learned over the last 35 years. Paul learned from the best. Experienced guides such as Helen Burns, www.helensguideservice.com, on Oregon's Rogue River were the teachers over 26 years of catching Salmon in the Rogue estuary. Every chance Paul had to break away from his responsibilities in raising a family and accelerating his career he spent fishing for Salmon and Steelhead on the Northern California and Southern Oregon Coast.

While fishing with Osprey River Guide Service you can choose either a jet boat trip or a quiet and scenic drift boat trip with Paul as your host and guide. That is ... quiet until you bust into a fresh 10# winter run steelhead that leaps three feet in the air!!

If you are fishing during summer vacations you may meet my grandson Joey. Joey will be deckhanding on some of the jetboat trips during summer and has fishing and boating skills that are exceptional for a young man his age.

Osprey River Guide Service is based in Santa Rosa California. Our guide service utilizes many guide points throughout Northern California. If the migrating fish are running a river you can bet Paul will be near it.
